Revolutionizing Stryker’s Sales Approach

Agilno partnered with Stryker to transform sales and customer engagement with an innovative 3D product demo experience. This digital solution cut costs and expanded Stryker’s global reach, delivering an unmatched user experience and setting a new industry standard.

The Challenge: Reinventing the sales wheel

High cost and limited reach

Despite being a pioneer in medical technology with state-of-the-art products, Stryker’s reliance on traditional in-person demonstrations presented significant challenges:

  1. Logistical Complexities: Coordinating on-site demonstrations was costly and intricate, requiring extensive resources and time.
  2. High Overheads: The expenses associated with maintaining on-site teams and logistics were burdensome, impacting profitability.
  3. Geographical Constraints: The limited reach of in-person demos restricted Stryker’s ability to showcase their innovations on a global scale, thereby hindering potential growth opportunities.

The need for digital transformation

In a digital age where online presence is crucial, Stryker recognized the need to transform their sales strategy. Their goal was ambitious but clear: to replicate the tactile and immersive experience of live demonstrations in a virtual environment, compliant with the stringent requirements of the healthcare industry.

The Solution: Interactive 3D Product Demo Platform

3D Engineering: A leap beyond 2D

Agilno met Stryker’s challenge by advancing from traditional 2D presentations to immersive and interactive 3D visualizations. Using state-of-the-art modeling techniques, we created virtual replicas of Stryker’s products. This allowed users to manipulate and explore them in real-time, offering a tactile experience previously limited to physical demonstrations.

User-centric front-end development

Our focus on front-end development centered on creating a seamless and intuitive interface. We designed it to be both user-friendly and visually appealing, ensuring a professional aesthetic that aligned with Stryker’s brand. Leveraging technologies like WebGL, we delivered high-quality 3D graphics across various devices, ensuring a responsive and engaging user experience.

Customization & Scalability

Agilno’s architecture was designed for flexibility, allowing seamless integration of Stryker’s branding and UI/UX elements. This approach facilitated easy updates and scalability, empowering Stryker to adapt quickly to market demands and expand their product portfolio effortlessly.

The Impact: Beyond the Numbers

Transforming sales dynamics: Cost Efficiency & ROI

By implementing a 3D product demo platform, Agilno revolutionized Stryker’s sales approach, eliminating the need for costly on-site teams and logistics. Prior to building this tool, Stryker would regularly fly potential customers to their facilities in Kalamazoo, Michigan in order to learn about their products.

The estimated cost of this to Stryker was between $20,000 and $80,000 USD per client visit. Beyond the cost to Stryker, not all customers wanted or needed this treatment in order to make a buying decision. Some Stryker customers would make the trip to Kalamazoo once, see the facility, build the relationships and not want their teams to waste time doing it again the next year.

Needless to say, this was not the most efficient approach to doing business! This strategic shift not only met but surpassed Stryker’s Return on Investment (ROI) expectations, setting new benchmarks for digital transformation success.

Access Unleashed: Bridging Gaps and Building Loyalty

Global Reach

The implementation had an immediate and profound impact on Stryker’s global presence. Geographical boundaries dissolved as potential customers worldwide gained immersive access to Stryker’s products. This global accessibility leveled the playing field and catalyzed significant market expansion.

Enhanced User Experience and Data Insights

The user-centric design of the 3D product demo platform garnered enthusiastic feedback, significantly increasing engagement and conversion rates while enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Additionally, the integrated analytics suite provided real-time insights into user behavior, empowering data-driven decision-making and optimizing marketing strategies.
